- On the homepage, select "Foreign Citizen."
- On the next page, you will have two service options. Choose "Visa."
- Click on the "Start New Application" button at the bottom of the page.
- Finally, you must fill in your details and submit to generate a receipt.
Please select the Mail option when prompted to choose the mode of submission. This will ensure that your appearance at the embassy is limited to interactions via the courier service only.
Documents required for a Brazil visa application
- Recent 3-month bank statement, which your bank must stamp.
- Vaccination card showing at least the first immunization
- Introduction letter from your company
- 3-month salary slips for employees
- A copy of the CAC/business name is required for a business owner/self-employed person.
- 2 Passport photographs on a white background - U.S. size.
- International passport valid for at least 6 months from departure from Brazil.
- Verifiable flight and hotel reservations must show the applicant's full name and match the travel date on the manual visa application form.
- Marriage certificate for a couple traveling together.
- The birth certificate of a minor traveling with their parents or intending to join their parents in Brazil, including a Travel Authorization form for a minor, must be signed by a lawyer recognised by the Brazilian embassy.

You must book an appointment with the Brazilian consulate to submit hard copies of your documents.

- Check your email to activate your account with the Brazil e-consular system.
- Choose VIVIS and submit a clear copy of your passport data page, the Delivery receipt with your photo and signature, and the visa fee receipt.
- Finally, submit it and wait for the consular's response via email regarding the appointment status.
How much are the visa fees for a Brazil visa in Nigeria?
The consular fee for Nigerian passport holders applying for a VIVIS (visit visa) is N144,000.00. This fee covers tourism, family visits, business, transit, and other short-term visits.
The visa fee for the VITEM (temporary residence visa) is N180,000.00. This includes fees for study, work, family reunion, and other temporary residence purposes.
Additionally, a N50 CBN stamp duty charge should be added to each visa fee. Please note that the consular fees are subject to change without notice.
